Azospirillum brasilense is an associative symbiotic nitrogen fixing bacteria.
It fixes atmospheric nitrogen and makes it available to the plants by living in close proximity with the root zone.
Besides fixing nitrogen it also has the capacity to synthesize phytohormones, in particular indole-acetic acid.
It also increases the plant’s tolerance to biotic and abiotic stress.
It increases the yield and reduces the chemical nitrogen fertilizer application by 25 – 30%.
Dosage: Soil Application: Mix 2 litres in 200 litres of water and drench near root zone per acre. 2 litres can be also mixed with well decomposed farm yard manure and applied per acre.
Drip Irrigation: 2-3 litres per acre
