Anvish A2 Gir Cow Ghee is crafted using the age-old Vedic Bilona method from the milk of pure-breed Gir cows. Our cows are grass-fed and hormone-free, producing A2 milk that’s hand-churned into rich, nutritious ghee. This ghee has a shelf life of 9 months and requires no refrigeration. Traditional Vedic Bilona Method: – Our A2 Desi Ghee is made from the A2 milk of grass-fed Gir cows, a native breed from Gujarat. These cows naturally produce only 2–3 litres of highly nutritious milk per day. We do not use any hormonal injections or forceful techniques—our cows are ethically raised and treated with care. The ghee is prepared in small batches using the traditional Bilona method, ensuring purity and preserving nutritional value.
MADE FROM CURD, NOT CREAM: – Our A2 Desi Ghee is pure, additive-free, and cruelty-free. Fresh A2 milk collected from Desi Gir cows is boiled and then set to curd. This curd is slowly and bi-directionally hand-churned in a traditional wooden churner known as a ‘bilona’. The A2 butter that separates through this process is gently heated over a low flame to produce our golden, aromatic ghee. This traditional bilona process gives our ghee a grainy texture, thicker consistency, and a rich, tempting aroma with a deep, satisfying flavour.
